Staten Island Auto Repair

We recently moved to the area and were in need for a trustworthy garage. We found it at Island Care! This is the second time we've come and both times were successful. Greg has taken care of my car and he has been amazing. He is HONEST, which is a deal breaker for me. He was very patient with my request, since the job that needed to be gone was expensive and I needed to make sure I could afford it. He helped me out figuring all out and my car is running perfectly. Fair priced, good service

On my way to catch the 6 AM ferry to Manhattan for the TD 5 Boro Bike RIde, my car suffered a unexpected major breakdown. I was able to glide into one of the last on street parking spots. Knowing that there was nothing I could do that early on a Sunday, I did the 40 miles before heading back to deal with the car. Lisa E. did some research for me and my options were to have the car towed back to Long Island to my mechanic or as scary as that seems, take a leap of faith on YELP reviews and use a local repair shop. I called AAA for a tow to Island and it turns out that they own the towing service too! The operator was very skillful and careful in getting my car out of a tight spot and then towing up and down the hilly side streets, as the main road was blocked for bicyclists returning from Fort Wadsworth to the ferry. I left the car, thinking that it was the transmission. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was "only a broken front axle". While on the lift, they identified a few other items that needed attention, all I was aware of , which I had been putting off. After talking with Dan on the phone, I could tell that he was honest and fair and agreed to the additional items. Dan even made an exception to storing my car until the weekend no charge, relieving me of the hassle of trying to make the 50 mile drive mid-week. My car is running fine and the repair cost was extremely reasonable. Bottom line: Honest, efficient and personable service. Owner (thank you again Dan)who really cares for his customers. Great service. The two guys I interacted with were friendly, helpful, and they took advantage of a break in their schedule to get me an on-the-spot inspection very quickly.

Pat was great. He was honest, suggesting I repair my tire even though I was open to getting a new one. Service was affordable and fast. I even got a free ice tea for my six year old who was waiting with me. I'll definitely come back next time I need tire repair.

After moving to the area a few years ago, I bounced around looking for a go-to place for my auto maintenance needs. I've found Island Car Care to be incredibly reliable, and the customer service some of the best I've experienced with mechanics. They always do a good job of diagnosis and are honest about what is and isn't a priority at the time. They have a good turn around time, and I always get my cars back quickly and clean. Definitely recommend.

Although at first I caught this place at a very busy time I must say the owners were unbelievably nice and worked hard to earn my trust. Great service!

I was driving through Staten Island recently since I am out of town and had an issue with my car. I called AAA and they recommended Island Car Care since it's a AAA Approved Repair shop. They were able to resolve the mechanical issue and get me safely back on the road. I highly recommend you give them a shot for any car trouble, A++ service and people.
